Lung Cancer Awareness Month
November's Lung Cancer Awareness Month is a crucial time for Lung Cancer Canada and our community. Each year, we unite to raise awareness, build support, and challenge the stigma and misconceptions surrounding lung cancer—a disease that affects over 32,000 Canadians annually, regardless of their background.
Lung cancer doesn’t discriminate. It impacts smokers and non-smokers, men and women, young and old alike. Despite recent advances, lung cancer remains underfunded, under-resourced, and burdened by stigma.
This November, we’re launching a series of powerful initiatives aimed at increasing awareness, strengthening our community, and driving meaningful change.
