Each year, Lung Cancer Canada’s volunteers lend thousands of hours of their time and talents in support of the lung cancer community.
They come from diverse backgrounds, bringing with them a variety of skills and experiences. But the one thing they all have in common is a commitment to make a difference in the lives of those impacted by lung cancer.

As a volunteer advocate, you’ll be making your voice heard in support of Lung Cancer Canada’s ongoing efforts to help policy-makers understand the impact of lung cancer and the actions that need to be taken to improve the lives of those impacted.
By serving on a committee, you’ll be partnering with other like-minded individuals in helping shape the future of Lung Cancer Canada -- advocating for change, spreading awareness, and bringing hope for a brighter, healthier future.
At Lung Cancer Canada, we offer a variety of community outreach and awareness opportunities. As a local ambassador, you can get involved through Regional Lung Cancer Summits, resource distribution, information booths, knowledge exchange seminars, and more.
Our Peer-to-Peer Support program provides people living with lung cancer and/or care partners an opportunity to engage in knowledge, experience and supportive exchanges with others who are currently or have navigated the lung cancer journey.
Lung Cancer Canada provides peer mentors with ongoing support, professional training, and an opportunity to become part of a network of people within the lung cancer space.
