As a thoracic medical oncologist for over 10 years, I have had the privilege of getting to meet, talk to, and treat lung cancer patients. I've heard their stories and shared the ups and downs with them and their families. It's opened my eyes as to how particularly special the lung cancer community really is.
I joined Lung Cancer Canada to be able to connect with patients from coast to coast in order to ensure that they and their families do not feel that they have to fight this disease alone. We as a LCC family are here to shoulder the burden together!
