Dr. Rosalyn Juergens
Member; Co-Chair, Lung Cancer Canada Medical Advisory Committee
It was during my training that my passion for supporting the lung cancer community was ignited. I was fortunate to train at a centre deeply involved in research, which fueled my dedication to improving the lives of lung cancer patients through clinical trials. And while my introduction to advocacy came through a colleague in Hamilton, it was Paul Wheatley-Price who saw in me a passion for advocacy, which led to him inviting me to succeed him as the LCC Medical Advisory Committee Chair.
Today, I am proud to be one of the foremost advocates for lung cancer patients and their caregivers in Canada. My role allows me to speak at conferences around the world, where I consistently end my lectures with a powerful call to action: become an advocate. I am committed to furthering the cause of lung cancer patients, advocating for greater investments in research, treatment, and support, and rallying others to join this crucial fight. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by lung cancer.
